Club membership is bought through Swim Central. For more information, visit the Membership page.

We offer a free ‘Come n Try’ membership. It allows you to come and try club night races before you commit to paying for a full membership.

The ‘Come n Try’ membership is valid for 3 consecutive club nights only.

Should you wish to compete at Club Championships or Carnivals, you will need to purchase a different membership. The ‘Come n Try’ membership does not include any club trophies or club gifts.

Club nights are held on Tuesday nights at Charlestown Pool. Please arrive by 6:30pm for a 6:45pm start.

We use the app ‘Swim Club Connect’ to help us manage races on club nights. For more information, visit the Register to Race page.

No, if you aren’t feeling confident to make the distance or you just don’t like a certain stroke, you do not have to race it. Simply enter the events you do want to race via the ‘Swim Club Connect’ app.

The Coast and Valley Swimming Association website lists the local area meets on their Meet Programs page.

Entries are done via the Swim Central website. Search for the event via the Events page on Swim Central.

There are a few reasons why this might happen.

• Ensure your swimmer has a ‘Full Swimmer’ membership.
• If the meet has qualifying times, your swimmer will need to have achieved the time and have it recorded in Swim Central.
• Some meets are only open to certain clubs/areas.

Meet flyer, start list, program, timeline, and timekeeping information for Coast and Valley meets are posted on the CVSA website in the week leading up to the meet.

You’ll need to keep track of your swimmers event, heat and lane to assist with marshalling.

During most meets, results are updated live through the Meet Mobile app, allowing you to track times and placings in real time.

Once the meet concludes, official results are reviewed and then uploaded into Swim Central, the governing platform used by Swimming Australia for tracking swimmer achievements, rankings, and qualifications.
